Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Antinia has always had an interest in helping others. An avid reader of detective stories and legal fiction from childhood, she nurtured an interest in the justice system from an early age. After graduating with honors, Antinia pursued a career in Machine Tool Technology, putting to use her natural affinity for mathematics and attention to detail.
Some time later, she traded the tool room for the sick room, as Office Manager in the office of a physician specializing in Holistic Medicine. This career change gave Antinia a unique perspective on personal injury claims and insurance companies, as she witnessed firsthand the struggle of many patients to obtain coverage for treatment they desperately needed in order to lead happy and productive lives. Nine years in the medical field engendered in her the compassion and drive that now fuels her everyday activity at Ciobanu Law, P.C.
Upon relocating to Indianapolis in 2012, Antinia found an outlet for those qualities at Families First, Indiana’s oldest non-profit organization for the benefit of families in need. During her time there, she actively participated in programs designed to empower victims of domestic violence, and she was instrumental in developing a curriculum focused on breaking the cycle of drug abuse and violence in the home. Antinia also managed a satellite child care center located in Indianapolis’s City-County Building, providing victims of sexual assault and domestic violence with care and much-needed resources.
As a legal assistant at Ciobanu Law, P.C., Antinia combines her unique work experience with a passion for justice and a continued desire to assist those in need.
Outside of the office, you will most likely find Antinia engaged in volunteer work throughout the Indianapolis area. She speaks French fluently and loves to create new recipes in the kitchen. Antinia resides in Marion County with her husband (and high school sweetheart) Ernest, a Master Electrician.
